Based in Berlin, Germany the musician, producer and songwriter Birk shows a large variety in his works. He’s collaborating with various German Pop Music and Indie Acts (e.g. LEA, Kafka Tamura, Ryk, Darjeeling, Tiflis Transit) as a live instrumentalist, producer and composer, whereas he also writes Production Music used in movies, radio, TV or commercial (eg. Netflix: „How to sell drugs online (fast)“ - 2019, or Mercedes Benz Norway - 2021).

He began early and won prices as a guitarist (such as a nationwide price for young musicians and a scholarship of the European Guitar Association), studied Popular Music at the Conservatory in Hannover, already played live in front of over 250 000 people in Germany and internationally and also did live in Seattle, USA for a while to work as an assistant in different recording studios where he worked with various producers connected to artists like Soundgarden, Death Cab for Cutie and Mudhoney. Since then Birk has additionally gravitated towards studio-based production, composition and engineering to work on his own music projects and to produce for other artists.
